We had such a busy week in the library. Second grade participated in a haunted hunt comparing and contrasting fiction and nonfiction books. First grade began to work on visualizing by illustrating "Go Away, Big Green Monster." (I cannot wait to see how these pictures turn out!) Kindergarten continues to research spiders and Mr. Week's class participated in their first Breakout EDU linked to their study of the Columbian Exchange. The week went by fast and I cannot wait to see all the learning that takes place next week!
We had another great week in the library. (Sorry about the late post!) This week we focused on fire safety with our primary students and Kindergarten started their mini research project on spiders. Second grade is learning about the organizational pattern of our library and is now looking for "just right" and choice books on the shelves independently. We also breathed a big sigh of relief as Miss Ryan's class restored the force field to keep out unwanted spirits and ghosts during their first BreakoutEDU session which kicked off their mystery and horror genre for the month. |
