During the month of December, we are partnering with our two local libraries to showcase their subscriptions services, materials to check out or use inside the library, and events.  We launched the series of lessons with the oven mitt challenge and I think students will be pleasantly surprised with what our libraries have to offer us.  We're referring to our library card as the Golden Ticket (think Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory) because it is such an incredible and valuable resource in our community.  Hope to see everyone at the library soon!

I'm very late posting but recently our First grade students partnered with a third grade buddy to share the research findings about pumpkins. Together we created these amazing three dimensional pumpkins to showcase our research (first grade) and our amazing typing and Google navigating (third grade) skills!
