The Power of Pictures

I predicted the students would love this wordless picture book but had no idea the emotions that would be expressed during class today.  When I closed the book, many had glassy eyes and tear streaked cheeks. I almost think that this (beautiful) wordless picture book could claim the 2024 Monarch Award winner.
